Answer: No. Chicago Food Truck Fest is now free to the general public with a free general admission ticket. General and VIP admission cost does not include food tickets. Food vendors will sell food at an additional cost. Admission includes access to food trucks, entertainment and live music.

Answer: No. All ages are welcomed as this is a family event designed for everyone to experience and share. In fact, children will have a play lot!
No. Sorry pets are not allowed. But you are more than welcome to bring a bear of an appetite!
Answer: No. Unfortunately outside food, beverages or alcohol is not allowed inside the event. Our goal is to have a diversity of food trucks and beverages onsite to match your tastes.
Yes, food trucks will offer regular size and smaller portions.

$1 from every ticket sold will be donated to our charity of choice.
There will be seating. However, we encourage you to bring your lawn chairs as seating will be limited.
Currently street parking is available. Check back

Chicago Food Truck Fest is a rain or
shine event. All tickets sales are
final. No exceptions.
How Does the Fest Work?
General admission is free to all participants
gain entry into the fest. This includes
access up to 20 Gourmet Food Trucks,
live music, outdoor games, give aways and more.
Food is bought separately, with cash, from each food truck at regular stand prices. However, we have strongly encouraged all participating food trucks to prepare sample size portions for sale but this is not mandatory only as a courtesy.
Chicago Food Truck Fest will progress as plan during light rain. However, if there is lighting the event will be immediately halted until further notice.
Chicago Food Truck Fest patrons are to enter on 35th St.
Outside Food & Beverages
Unfortunately no outside food or beverages may be brought into the venue. No exceptions.

Will Trucks Run Out of Food this Year?
No. We are working hard to ensure each truck is adequately supplied. In fact, we are working hard to provide onsite storage, and balancing the number of ticket and trucks in attendance.
So What is Different From Last Year?
We admit our inaugral year go off to a shaky start. But we have learned. So what is different this year?
This year we have tons of added features!

4. Event will be on grass this year with trees for added shade
5. Inside and outside restrooms with baby changing stations
6. Outdoor games: corn hole, Jenga, Volleyball and more
7. Smaller taste portions from food trucks
8. Expanded beer selections spirits and wines
9. Tents and custom made outdoor furniture for event
10. Storage containers onsite for food reinforcements
11. Doubled event staffing
12. Give a ways and more
13. Non stop entertainment
