Answer: No. Chicago Food Truck Fest is now free to the general public with a free general admission ticket. General and VIP admission cost does not include food tickets. Food vendors will sell food at an additional cost. Admission includes access to food trucks, entertainment and live music.
Early Bird VIP tickets purchased provide 1hr priority early entrance at 10am and 1 drink ticket (water, beer, or wine). All other VIP tickets provide 1 hr early admission and exactly what is printed on the ticket. Drink tickets may be claimed at the beverage ticket tent. Simply show your prinout and it will be scanned and the appropiate number of tickets will be issued.
Answer: No. All ages are welcomed as this is a family event designed for everyone to experience and share.
Yes. Small pets are now allowed and you are more than welcome to bring a bear of an appetite!
Answer: No. Unfortunately outside food, beverages or alcohol is not allowed inside the event. Our goal is to have a diversity of food trucks and beverages onsite to match your tastes.
Food trucks will offer regular size portions.

We partner with organizations that match participating food truck purchases. In fact, last year we partnered with Bank of America to support their global HIV eradication initiative.
There will be seating. However, we encourage you to bring your lawn chairs as seating will be limited.

Chicago Food Truck Fest is a rain or shine event. All tickets sales are final. No exceptions.
How Does the Fest Work?
General admission is free to all participants to
gain entry into the fest. This includes
access up to 50 Gourmet Food Trucks
live music, outdoor games, give aways and more
at regular stand prices. However, we have strongly encouraged all participating food trucks to prepare sample size portions for sale but this is not mandatory only as a courtesy. Food is bought separately, with cash, from each food truck
Chicago Food Truck Fest will progress as plan during light rain. However, if there is lighting the event will be immediately halted until further notice.

Unfortunately no outside food or beverages may be brought into the venue. No exceptions.
Will Trucks Run Out of Food
No. We are worked hard last year to ensure each truck is adequately supplied. In fact, again we will provide onsite storage, and balancing the number of tickets and trucks in attendance.

Concealed carry firearms are prohibited within festival grounds. Individuals who are licensed to carry concealed guns must store their firearms in their car’s glove compartment, trunk, or locked case while visiting the Chicago Food Truck Festival.
