To expedite registration lines, there no longer are separate Saturday or Sunday Tickets. Tickets may be used on either day for one use only. So if you plan to attend both days you will need to claim two free tickets or buy two VIP drink tickets.
Is there an age requirement?
Answer: No. All ages are welcomed as this is a family event designed for everyone to experience and share. Children under 8 are free.
What does VIP tickets include?
VIP tickets also include early entry and two drink tickets for 2019. Drinks include water or alcoholic beverages. Must be 21+ to consume alcohol. Guests may arrive at any time as there will be a separate VIP line. Again VIP provides two drinks at our drink tent (water or alcoholic beverages). Simple. Drink tickets will be claimed at the entrance. Simply show your printout and it will be scanned and the appropriate number of tickets will be issued.
Is there an admission price?
Answer: Chicago Food Truck Fest is free to the general public with a general admission ticket while tickets last. Tickets may be claimed starting January 2018 until we reach capacity. General admission tickets are limited. Once free admission capacity is reached general admission will be closed. Admission tickets does not include food, drinks or merchandise. Patrons pay for food separately. Admission includes access to our gourmet food trucks, entertainment and a chill day in the park. Please note with general admission tickets we reserve the right to halt entrance lines if at anytime food truck food production drastically out paces service.
Are pets allowed?
Yes and no. In the dog park area only. Small pets are allowed and you are more than welcome to bring a bear of an appetite! Please note the festival this year is on asphalt and the ground is hot. Keep in mind the heat increases the temperature of the asphalt plus food trucks generating heat is not good for dogs.
Can I bring outside food, beverage an alcohol?
Answer: No. Unfortunately outside food, beverages and/or alcohol is not allowed inside the event. Our goal is to have a diversity of food trucks and beverages onsite to match your tastes.
Will food trucks provide samples of there food?
Food trucks will offer regular size portions.

We at times partner with organizations that match participating food truck purchases. In fact, in the past we partnered with Bank of America to support their global HIV eradication initiative.
There will be seating. However, we encourage you to bring your lawn chairs as seating will be limited.

Chicago Food Truck Fest is a rain or shine event. All tickets sales are final. No exceptions.
How Does the Fest Work?
General admission is free to all participants to gain entry into the fest while free admission tickets last. Admission permits access to fourty plus Gourmet Food Trucks, live music, delicious beverages, free give aways an outdoor games and more!
Chicago Food Truck Fest will progress as plan during light rain. However, if there is lighting the event will be immediately halted until further notice.
Outside Food & Beverages
Unfortunately no outside food or beverages may be brought into the venue. No exceptions.

Concealed carry firearms are prohibited within the festival grounds. Individuals who are licensed to carry concealed guns must store their firearms in their car while visiting the Chicago Food Truck Festival.
